Today I played at Medical Center for Hospital Week! We did a live music luncheon and it was awesome. I was very nervous performing my own music; but I did and I received a very warm, wonderful reaction. Shawn Smith, James Bell, Mark Lawrence, and a wonderful guy that brought a PA system and played harmonica! My apologies for not remembering his name. :) We played for nearly an hour and took turns playing our music. They are very talented peeps. I performed a few of my songs and covered Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert. We tried our hand at singing Turn the Page and The Night they Drove Old Dixie Down, but we did not fare very well. Our na na na's were not together, but it sure was fun to try! I enjoyed it so much that upon a second invitation to join the TSC and attend some of the activites..... I decided that I would do just that. Today was an awesome day and I can't wait to do it again sometime. :)
