Going to Viola!

Incase you didn't know; I work weekend nights at the hospital. Therefore, the friday night venues for the TSC are typically out of the question. However; I am pleased to say a coworker friend has agreed to work the first half of the shift on Friday June 4 so that Roz and I may participate in the TSC at Viola Country Store! We are so excited. Roz has written her own song and thinks she wants to perform it, but she's unsure. I am working on a new song titled "You and Me," and I hope to have it ...

TSC @ Sweet Aroma Cafe

OMG! Roz and I had a blast tonight. Shawn and James were there and I met Kathy (the founder of TSC), Shelia, a lady whose name I forgot :( but she sang a wonderful song about having lips like Elvis, the guy that brought the PA system to MCM and played harmonica, and a gentlemen who played lead guitar with quite a musical history. New Adventures

So, on Wednesday night I worked extra and hurt my lower back. Grrrr. While on the mend I played around on kathymartinmusic.com and requested to join the TSC. I was estatic to find my information on the website the next night. I gotta print it out for scrapbooking. :) Tomorrow night at Sweet Aroma Cafe in Tullahoma is the next music venue. Roz and I are sooooo excited to attend. If you have nothing else better to do then come on over... it's from 6 to 8pm. See ya there! :)

Hospital Week 2010

Today I played at Medical Center for Hospital Week! We did a live music luncheon and it was awesome. I was very nervous performing my own music; but I did and I received a very warm, wonderful reaction. Shawn Smith, James Bell, Mark Lawrence, and a wonderful guy that brought a PA system and played harmonica!
